Vive La France 🇫🇷 France has everything you could ask for: Mediterranean climate in the South, a picturesque mountain range of the French Alps, the world’s largest Sand Dune, Dune Du Pilat, rough Atlantic Ocean winds in the West and the North, amazing landscapes, buzzling cities, terrific wines and the best city of them all: Paris ❤️ France is always worth a visit!
“France has the only two things towards which we drift as we grow older – intelligence and manners” – F. Scott Fitzgerald
Divided into 96 metropolitan dĂ©partements, this country has it all: The language, the culture, the food, the sights. France is forever one of my favourite countries to visit. Despite not mastering the language as I’d love to, I try to spend as much time in France as possible. One might say I even have a slight obsession with its capital. I agree.
I have done both – short and long vacations in France and it’s safe to say I have experienced every form of accommodation a regular traveler might chose: from sleeping in a tent on a camping ground, sharing a hostel room with the tallest person I have ever met in person, to staying with relatives outside of Paris and experiencing a range of hotels, bed and breakfasts and AirBnBs. I have even taken the fast train, formerly known as Thalys, from Cologne to Paris and my very first plane ride ever went to France.
Check out my posts about both my short trips to Paris, elaborate holidays in the Bretagne, a weekend out to Bordeaux or a cute stop in Arcachon on our way to Spain. In the future, I am hoping to explore Marseille and Lyon. Subscribe on all platforms to stay up to date and send me a message if you have any tipps or recommendations.
