This was the trip of a life-time! Antarctica changed my life. The impressions, the experiences and the beauty of this remote place left an imprint on my brain I will never be able to shake. This trip changed my DNA. (Literally, because the sun there must have done some serious skin damage.)
The long and partly uncomfortable trip to Ushuaia, the costly preparation and the hefty price tag were forgotten the second we laid eyes on our very first iceberg.

With regards to the rapid climate change, I am glad we went before it’s too late. There’s no time like the present! One thing we all learned in the pandemic is that we don’t know what’s going to happen. Experts are very critical of tourism to this remote continent and strict rules must be followed to protect and preserve this delicate and yet harsh place. In case tourism will be shut down, let this website serve you as a relict to better times.
